MACFOX LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
Overview
At Macfox, we are committed to providing high-quality electric bikes built for reliability, performance, and everyday adventure.
All Macfox electric bikes purchased in the United States are covered by a 2-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when properly operated, maintained, and stored according to the Macfox Owner’s Manual and guidelines.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modifications, or damage caused by external factors.
1. Warranty Period and Eligibility
Original Purchaser:
The warranty period begins on the date the original purchaser receives the Macfox eBike.
Warranty Transfer:
Remaining warranty coverage may be transferred to a subsequent owner only if:
1. The original warranty period has not expired;
2. The new owner provides the original purchaser’s name and original order number or valid proof of purchase.
Warranty transfer does not extend the original warranty period.
2. Warranty Coverage
During the applicable warranty period, Macfox will repair or replace defective components determined to have defects in materials or workmanship.
Macfox may provide new replacement parts, refurbished parts, or equivalent replacement components.
The final determination of warranty eligibility shall be made by Macfox or an authorized Macfox service representative.
3. Covered Components
Frame: 2 Years
Covered against structural defects caused by manufacturing defects or defective materials.
Battery: 2 Years or 300 Charging Cycles, whichever occurs first.
Designed to retain approximately 75% of original capacity during the warranty period under normal usage conditions.
Electrical Components: 2 Years
Includes motor, controller, display/LCD, throttle, charger, wiring harness, electrical connectors, sensors, and lighting components.
Mechanical Components: 1 Year
Includes front fork, handlebar, stem, seat post, saddle, crankset, pedals, kickstand, wheel hubs, rims, spokes, and mechanical drivetrain components.
Accessories: 1 Year.
4. Wear and Tear Items
Not covered unless caused by manufacturing defects:
Brake pads, brake rotors, tires, inner tubes, chains, chainrings, cassettes, grips, and rubber components.
5. Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Accidents, crashes, collisions, drops;
- Misuse, abuse, racing, stunt riding, jumping;
- Improper storage or maintenance;
- Water damage;
- Fire, flooding, lightning, storms, or external events;
- Unauthorized modifications;
- Non-approved accessories or components;
- Improper assembly, repair, or adjustment;
- Failure to follow the Owner’s Manual;
- Altered or removed serial numbers.
6. Warranty Claim Process
Customers must provide:
- Proof of purchase;
- Product serial number;
- Photos or videos showing the issue;
- Description of the problem.

7. Replacement Parts, Shipping, and Labor
Macfox provides replacement parts approved under warranty.
Labor, assembly, and installation costs are not covered unless specifically authorized by Macfox.
For high-value components such as batteries, motors, controllers, and displays, Macfox may require return of defective components or a refundable deposit.
8. Shipping Damage Claims
Shipping damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Customers must provide package photos, damage photos/videos, and order information.
9. Customer Responsibility
Customers should follow the Owner’s Manual, perform regular maintenance, use approved chargers and accessories, properly store and operate the eBike, and keep purchase records and serial numbers.
